Wow, I can't believe it's been 6 month since I last posted. I'll be honest, blogging as been the furthest thing from my mind. I have just been enjoying every minute of my freedom.
I finished x-ray school in May and was working at the U of U hospital 4 days a week. I liked it but Adam and I were never able to see each other ( he loved his no wife every weekend time though). I just started at the Holladay/Murray Instacares the end of October and absolutely love it. I love that I can do x-rays and also put my medical assisting skills to use also. I get to do everything from vitals, blood draws, x-rays, and they even let me put people in soft casts!
Adam is basically done with his Masters program at the U. He plowed right through it in only 1 year! Other than school, I don't know what he does with his spare time. I am looking forward to having us both out of school for the first time since we've been together!
In October, we were able to visit my sister Lindsay in Seattle. It was fun to see the sights and explore it a little more this time. I loved being able to see my beautiful nieces and love on them. They are so adorable!
For Thanksgiving, we went to Adams parents and to .Boise. Adam's mom always does Thanksgiving the Saturday before so no one has to stuff in two dinners. It wouldn't be complete without our annual Thanksgiving Bingo. If you know Adam's family at all, you would understand that games are not something anyone likes to play except his mom and grandma. Bingo lasts about .2 seconds before someone starts whining.
We were also able to spend time with to spend some time with my other sister Kristen and her 2 boys. It was fun to go to someon elses house for the holiday. We really didn't have any reason to go out for "Black Friday", but decided to go to Walmart just for the fun of it. That lead to many other stores and a lot of purchases. We ended up not coming home until 3am (sorry Mom, we're just keeping you young)! Luckily, Lindsay was able to defuse a few fights and keeps us laughing with her crazy "mom gone wild" attitude.
Other than that, we Frisbee's are very boring and pretty lame 90% of the time, but that works for us!
If I ever get around to it, I may post some picture so you can at least look at them instead of reading all of my boringness!
