Bah Hum Bug...

I am sitting here thinking I really should update my blog, but I really don't want to recap everything that has happened since my last post. Not that I don't want to remember any of it, it's just that there is sooooooo much. So I guess I will just ramble on about the nonsense that is running through my head at the moment. I am starting to get so excited for CHRISTmas. I love that is just dumped a massive amount of snow just in time. Not only have I managed to unintentionally find out my Christmas presents, I have successfully ruined a few other peoples as well. What is it about a present that makes it so hard to keep it a secret? I mean if it wasn't supposed to be a surprise I would have no problem keeping my mouth shut. Wait....I take that back, I always have to fill everyone in on everything. SO to all of you who I have ruined your Christmas surprises, I apologies and request you not inform me of any possible gift giving ideas for next year.

On another note, I have become obsessed with making these adorable hats. It started out as only baby hats, but it has now moved on to adults. I have even made some for all of my sisters as well as all of my nieces. If you are interested in owning one of these sweet babies just leave me a comment. Bubble,bubble, Toil and Trouble

I know this is a little late, but better late than never right? The older I am the more I love Halloween. I give credit to my great friend Kami for getting my into the Halloween spirit in high school. This year the gals at work decided to dress up as 80's girls/sports theme. I work with the best people, they are so much fun. I thought I had found the perfect outfit, then I found another, and another, and another. I ended up buying outfits and then selling them to some of the gals. The one thing I love about the 80's is first of all the awesome music, and the BIG hair. Lets just say our office was like totally the coolest in like the entire hospital.

My mom was able to fly in on Halloween day. We went up to my sisters house in Idaho to see her beautiful brand new baby Madison Rose. It was so much fun to see Abby all dressed up and excited to go trick or treating. She was such a cute little lady bug, but she didn't want to smile for the camera. I can't wait until Adam and I have kids of our own, so I can use them as an excuse to go trick or treating.

1 Year and Counting

YES.... we made it! I always hear people say what an adjustment the first year of marriage is. I don't know if it's because we dated a long time before we were married, or that Adam is just to good to me. Either way, our first year has flown by and we are still going strong. It seems like just yesterday we were married. I remember all of the events that took place that day with a very fond memory. Of course we have had our ups and downs but we always manage to work them out. For our anniversary we just layed low. We enjoyed running errands and just doing whatever we felt like. It was just nice to spend the whole day with each other. Adam, you are the best husband I could ever ask for. You have the unfortunate task of keeping me grounded day after day! Thank you for all you do behind the scenes to make my life as great as it is! Here's to one down and many more to go!

Our 1 year at Outback

St George

I am always so behind on posting lately. We have been up to so very fun things so there will be many post from me to come, but I better break them up so I can keep your interest. I was able to go to sunny St George with on of my BFF's and her adorable daughter. After a late start we were finally on our way.

Around Payson we hit construction and ended up going 2 mph, yes I said 2.

The forces were really against us on this trip. We finally hit freeway speeds and were ready to go. We had so much fun talking, laughing and singing. We stopped to get some lunch and change a diaper and we were off. Not 5 minutes later we see one of those really annoying Iron county cops. I had no idea how fast I was going so I slowed down and moved into the other lane. I thought I was safe and then I see the flashing lights. The officer was very nice and gave me a ticket for going 85 in a 75 ( I was actually going 90, oops). Why couldn't miss Berkelee have been screaming at that time. We may have gotten away with it. After that, we finally made it to the warmth and sunshine. We called around and found a cute place to get a pedi. It was so much fun.

We went shopping and out to eat at the new Brick Oven. So delicious! Berklee was so hungry she was shoving her puffies in her mouth, and blah... puked all over!

After that was cleaned up and we stopped laughing, we packed up our left overs and went back to the hotel. The next day we ate breakfast and took a nap. It was noon before we even left the hotel. After shopping some more we went to an awesome Mexican restaurant called Paula's. The food was amazing! We then headed to Tuachan for the production of Annie. It was so good!

The next day we headed home, but not before stopping at Inn and Out for some grub. You should have seen our set up, We each had 3 drink cups and laps full of food.

When we were almost home we called the hubbies and decided to go on a date to Spaghetti Mamas. It was such a blast to have some good old fashion girl time. Thank Valisa and Berklee for coming with me!

Yay for the craft fair

SO.... I don't have much to talk about right now, but I feel like I owe those who read this lame blog something upbeat! I was invited to do a craft fair with my sisters this year and have been busy getting everything ready. I've made about 7 new car seat cabana's, now I'm working on crocheting some adorable baby hats. I decided to open my Etsy shop back up and see if I get any buyers this time. For those of you who are interested my shop name is One Crazy Daisy Shop, or you can just type in car seat cabana, tent, cover ect... Any who, I am getting read to go down to glorious, warm St. George with one of my very bestest friends and her adorable daughter. I am so excited to have a girls weekend where we can talk and swim, and swim and talk. I can hardly wait!! Well... I love fall and pumpkin bread, cookies, muffins ect.. so if you need someone to take some of that off your hands, I'm your gal! TTFN

Where am I?

Not much has happened since my last post. I live a pretty boring life, but a good life. Looking back on where I was this time last year and where I am now has been such an eye opener. I have loved every minute of it good or bad. Life is such a fragile gift, one that is taken for granted. I realize how often I forget to show my friends and family what a big part of my life they are. How I wouldn't be the same person without them. How sometimes I just want to forget about some parts of my life, some peoples action in my life. Then, I stop and realize that we are all human. We all make mistakes, we can choose how we react, how we handle the situation, how we ultimately feel. Life isn't always pretty, life is messy, sad, unreal, ever changing. But with that change comes a rebirth, a chance to right our wrongs, to forgive those who continually hurt us, give those we doubt just one more chance. And then I realize, things will work out and it's not for me to determine when, or how. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have, what a gift each day is. For those who read this, please know that you do make a difference to me and those around you. Never give up, never change!

Silver Lake

Last weekend Adam and I took my little sis up to one of our favorite places, Silver Lake. It is at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. It has a board walk all the way around Silver Lake where you can see animals, fish, and vegetation. I just love to go up there and get away from the city. If you have never been, you must put it on your to do list.

Monkey'n Around

A few days after my surgery, I used my cute niece Abby as an excuse to go to the Hoagle Zoo. I have been begging Adam to take me to the Zoo since we started dating like a million years ago. I packed my "happy pills", and we all (Lindsay, Brooke, Abby and Mom) piled into the car and headed to the Zoo. It was such a nice day, not too hot or crowded. I loved looking at all of the animals and especially hearing how excited a 2 1/2 year old gets. We were able to see the baby giraffe, and my favorite the monkeys. No trip is complete until you hit the famous choo choo train that takes you through the forbidden parts of the Zoo.

Plenty of Time...Nothing to do

For the past few weeks all of my projects have been halted. I have been having wrist pain on and off for the past few years and finally decided to get it taken care of. This means going under the knife. I had surgery the beginning of Aug. and this is the first day I have been home by myself since the surgery. Surgery was done on my Rt wrist and I am in a cast past my elbow. It has made it very interesting to do even the most basic things. Luckily I have had my sisters and mom to make sure I was presentable before leaving the house, keeping Adam fed, and making sure the house was picked up. Sadly enough, my live in maid (Brooke) left yesterday to go down to Snow. I am still in my Pj's looking a mess and wondering how I'm going to do my hair one handed. Luckily I have plenty of time and no where to be. I am definitely going to take advantage of my last few days off before I return back to the real world and beck to work

Where to Start?

It has been so long since I posted, I have no idea where to start! During June I was able to hang out with my sisters more than I have in a long time. Can I just say my sisters are hands down the best out there (no offense to anyone else)! My oldest sister Kristen has 3 awesome kids who are a little rambuncious but so cute (Morg your just awesome). She was able to come and stay for a few days with her 2 youngest, James 4 and Clay 1 1/2. James loves to hang out with Uncle Adam and our "pet" dog Ralphy. He is always on the go and definitely wears me out. Clay is just the same, only a little less talkative. We were able to go to the park, play Wii, play hide and go seek, and run around like crazies. Adam was even nice enough to watch the boys so Kris and I could to Hobby Lobby and go fabric shopping (a very addicting hobby).

My other sis Lindsay and her cutie Abby were also able to spend a few days with me. I feel like Abbie's 2Nd mom (not in a bad way). I was there when she was born and she is also the next niece after like a 14 year dry spell. I loves to watch any Disney movie or Mickey Mouse out there. It is so cute to watch her sing to the shows. She is definitely the "boss" at her house or so she thinks. I love to watch her boss around their dog Princess.

Even though my sisters have decided Idaho is cooler the Utah, I am lucky enough to get to see them. I am so thankful for my sisters and all they do for me. They are my best friends and I have no idea what I would do without them! Love you gals!

Crafting Here I Come

While I was at my parents house, my mom being the wonderful crafter she is helped me make so very fun things. She also helped me learn how to crochet these adorable little beenies with big flowers on them. So much fun. Warning... there are a lot of pics.
