Zion

This past weekend Adam and I were able to get away to St. George with my sis and her husband. It is always to fun to go any where with them (for the most part). On Thurs it was Darrens 26th b-day so headed down to St. George around 2pm. Once we checked into our room we headed out the Outback Steakhouse. It is a tradition Adam had with his friends that we continue to carry out. After stuffing our faces (and the worst service) we walked down the outlets to walk off some of our food. The next day we headed down to Zion. I have only been to Zion one other time so I was definitely excited. After a few wrong turns we finally made it. We caught the shuttle and headed up to do some hiking. About midway through our first hike it started to rain. Rain doesn't bother me until it starts to pour. As you can tell from the pictures I was dressed in my skank attire hoping to get a tan not another shower. After some lunch we hiked up the The Weeping Rock. You couldn't tell the difference between the rock and the rain. I'm sure it looks awesome on a day when the sun is shining. All in all it was a good experience.
The rest of our trip we just chilled. We played mini golf, hit up a movie and played some cards. There was only one restaurant that we had good food service it was totally ridiculous. Lindsay is about 17 weeks prego and waited on food and drinks are really not anything to mess with when your in her condition. If you have never eaten at Paula's Mexican restaurant you should hit it up. It is on a hill so you can over look the red rocks.

Those hikes look so pretty!! I have not been to Zion in along time, are those hikes near there or during the long walks up?
